This Vintage Omega Seamaster has a larger than normal case and an attractive white dial with raised gold Arabic numerals in what is now iconically known as the "Explorer" pattern, which was made famous by the famed Rolex Explorer. Also note the original pointed dauphine shaped hands on the watch. The gold filled case has been detailed and sparkles. The stainless steel screwback has very faint tool marks which obviously are not visible when the watch is worn on the wrist. Inside this impressive timepiece is one of Omega's legendary 30 MM movements, the manual wind caliber 286 with gilt rhodium plating. The serial number of the movement dates the watch to the early 60's a fact confirmed by the case reference date stamping of 14390-61-SC. The case measures 35 mm wide by 43.5 mm long and is supplied on your choice of black or brown leather straps.
